PROGRAM CHANGES JANUARY 1, 2010

The following vehicles which are registered and kept in the counties of Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Washington, or Waukesha, must meet emission inspection requirements. 

Vehicles that are at least five model years old require a test within 45 days of purchase.  Additionally, vehicles that are at least three model years old require at test every other year prior to license plate renewal.  See Testing Requirements for more details.

NEW OPERATING HOURS:

Mon, Tues., Thurs., Fri: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Closed Wednesday, Sunday and the State holidays

Test Stations are closed for the following holidays:
Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday Afternoon, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas, New Year Eve Day, New Years Day

TEST STATION CLOSURES:

The Burlington, Cedarburg and Waukesha South inspection stations have closed due to low volume. Alternate test stations for these stations are indicated below.

Titling Service Now Available At All Emission Test Stations

Titling Services are now available at all vehicle emission test stations. Plates or stickers are given to the customer upon completing the transaction. Titles are printed and mailed from Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Madison.

Title transactions processed:  

There is a service fee of  $19.50 for a title transaction.
