Envirotest Wisconsin Inc., a subsidiary of Environmental Systems Products, Inc. (ESP), operates the Wisconsin Vehicle Inspection Program under contract to the State of Wisconsin.

Headquartered in East Granby, Connecticut, ESP operates eleven centralized vehicle inspection programs comprising 175 facilities and 689 testing lanes. ESP performs more than 13 million inspections each year and employs more than 3,000 people. These programs are in the states of Colorado, Conne6ticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Ohio, Tennessee, Washington and Wisconsin, and the Canadian province of British Columbia. Internationally, the company has programs in Taiwan, Egypt, and Argentina. ESP's experience in supporting decentralized vehicle emissions programs (also called test-and-repair or garage programs) extends over 15 years, including providing referee and quality assurance services in both Alaska and California.

ESP performs a wide variety of emissions testing procedures ranging from simple idle mode tests to enhanced procedures such as the acceleration simulation mode (ASM) and I/M 240 transient tests. The company also performs a wide variety of safety tests ranging from visual pre--inspection to comprehensive, fully-automated, mechanized checks. ESP's wholly-owned subsidiary, Remote Sensing Technologies, Inc. (RSTi), provides remote sensing equipment and monitoring services throughout the United States and abroad.
